Our Silkspun Olefin rope was created to simulate both the strength and the softness of silk. We twist our Silkspun Olefin rope from a fiber especially manufactured for the outdoor market. This yarn has hundreds more filaments per inch than our standard rope, creating a denser, smoother result. The yarn is solution dyed for a long-lasting, fade-resistant rope. Silky smooth Silkspun Olefin rope has an unsurpassed weather-ability and is mildew and mold resistant.

Not content to merely improve the rope, we reconstructed our traditional style rope hammock to increase its comfort. The body of our Silkspun Hammock boasts 50% more rows of rope and 50% more stitches per row. This creates a bed with well over twice the standard number of stitches, a much closer weave resulting in added comfort and support. We complete our Silkspun rope hammocks with white oak spreader bars, hand-finished with linseed oil to preserve the wood grain.
